Child safety standards
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Swooopz is a dating service for adults. Children have no place on it, and we do not tolerate child sexual abuse or exploitation in any form.
Adults only
You must be 18 or older to use Swooopz. You confirm you are 18 or over when you set up your profile; we refuse any age under 18, and we may ask for ID and a selfie to verify it. We remove any account we find belongs to someone under 18.
What we prohibit
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is banned on Swooopz in every form, including: sharing, requesting or linking to sexual images of children; sexualising a child in words or images; grooming, or trying to contact or meet a child; sextortion; and trafficking. Anyone who does this is banned, and we report it to the authorities where the law requires.
How to report
- In the app or on the website: use Report from the menu on a profile card in Discover, or from the menu in your chat with them, and say that it involves a child. Reporting from a chat saves a copy of the messages’ text for our safety team.
- By email: support@swooopz.com, with “Child safety” in the subject. You do not need an account.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
What we do with a report
- Our staff review every child-safety report within 48 hours, and sooner where a child may be in immediate danger.
- If the report is confirmed, we ban the account.
- We keep the report and any messages it saved as evidence.
- We report it to the authorities where the law requires, such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the equivalent body in the country concerned, and we cooperate with law enforcement.
