Swooopz

Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 October 2026

These terms explain what you can expect from Swooopz and what we expect from you. They are written to be read, so please read them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of these terms.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and Dosunmu Adetokunbo, trading as Swooopz of Muscat, Sultanate of Oman (“Swooopz”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Swooopz app and the Swooopz website.

By creating an account or using Swooopz in any way, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

2. Who can use Swooopz

You may use Swooopz only if all of the following are true:

  • You are 18 or older. Swooopz is for adults only.
  • You keep one account, for yourself. Accounts for other people, shared accounts and duplicate accounts are not allowed.
  • Your profile is truthful: the name you go by, your real age, and recent photos that are of you and belong to you.
  • We have not previously banned you or removed an account of yours.
  • Using a dating service is lawful for you in the country where you live.

You confirm you are 18 or over when you set up your profile; we refuse any age under 18, and we may ask for ID and a selfie to verify it. Any account found to belong to someone under 18 is removed.

3. Your account

  • Keep your password and sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for everything done through your account until you tell us it has been compromised.
  • Change your password and tell us straight away, at support@swooopz.com or through Support in the app, if you think someone else has access to your account.
  • We may ask you to verify your identity with an ID document and a selfie, and we may require this before you can keep using some or all of the service. Verification images are reviewed by our staff and handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Keep your email address current so we can reach you about your account.

4. What you may not do

Swooopz only works if members treat each other decently. You must not:

  • Harass, bully, stalk, threaten or intimidate anyone, on or off the service.
  • Post or send hate speech, or content that attacks people for who they are.
  • Put nudity or sexual content in your profile photos, or send sexual content to anyone who has not asked for it.
  • Pretend to be someone else, use another person’s photos, or misrepresent your age, identity or intentions.
  • Run scams, ask members for money, gifts or financial details, or solicit anything of value.
  • Use Swooopz for business, advertising, recruiting, promotion or anything commercial.
  • Involve anyone under 18 in any way, or post, send or request content involving minors. We report this to the authorities where required.
  • Scrape, copy or collect member data, or use bots, scripts or other automation on the service.
  • Interfere with the service, probe or bypass its security, or try to reach accounts or systems that are not yours.
  • Share other members’ photos, messages or profile details outside Swooopz without their permission.
  • Break the law, or encourage anyone else to.

Our community guidelines describe in everyday terms how we expect members to behave.

5. Your content

You own what you post: your photos, profile text, messages, voice notes and anything else you add to Swooopz.

So that we can run the service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, adapt (for example, resizing a photo) and moderate your content, and to show it to other members in the way the service is designed to. That includes letting our AI assistant read your messages and what your profile shows, to write suggestions for you when you ask and for a match when they ask (your messages only if you have not kept them out of their reply ideas). This licence ends when your content or your account is deleted, except where we need to keep something for safety, legal or fraud reasons as described in our Privacy Policy.

You must have the rights to anything you post. Do not upload photos or text that belong to someone else, or photos of other people who have not agreed to appear on a dating profile.

If your content breaks these terms, our community guidelines or the law, or we reasonably believe it could harm members or the service, we may suspend your account or ban you permanently.

AI suggestions

Reply ideas, openers and Swooopz Coach answers are generated automatically by an AI. They can be wrong, unsuitable or untrue, and they are not advice or statements from us. Nothing is sent until you send it, and you are responsible for what you send, whether you wrote it yourself or started from a suggestion. Please report any suggestion that is harmful or inappropriate.

6. Safety and moderation

  • You can block any member, and report any member, in the app and on the website.
  • Our staff review reports. Depending on what we find, we may suspend your account or ban you permanently. Serious or repeated breaches lead to a permanent ban without warning.
  • A verified badge means a member has completed our verification: a pose selfie our team compares with their profile photos, or an ID and a selfie. It is not a guarantee of anything else about them.
  • We do not run criminal background checks on members, and we do not vet them beyond verification. You are responsible for your own safety: meet in a public place, tell someone where you are going, and never send money to someone you have only met online.
  • We act on any report involving a child under our child safety standards, which include reporting to the authorities where required.

7. Paid features

Some parts of Swooopz are paid for:

  • Gold and Platinum passes unlock extra features for a set period.
  • Credits buy individual features one at a time.

These rules apply to every purchase:

  • Prices are shown in full, for the whole period you are buying, before you pay. The advertised price is the price you are charged.
  • Nothing renews automatically, except Gold or Platinum passes bought as subscriptions through Google Play. Those renew through Google Play until you cancel them in your Google Play subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; Google Play’s own rules apply to the period you have already paid for.
  • Credits do not expire while your account exists. They are not refundable except where the law requires.
  • Gold and Platinum passes bought on the website or in the app are not refundable once the period has started, except where the law requires. Passes bought as subscriptions through Google Play are managed, and refunded, through Google Play.
  • We may change prices for future purchases. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.
  • Paid features belong to your account. They cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash.

Members without a pass may see ads in the app. We never share your messages with advertisers, and we do not sell your personal data.

8. Ending your account

If you leave

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Danger zone → Delete account) or on the website (Settings → Danger Zone → Delete My Account). Our account deletion page explains the steps. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

When you delete your account, your profile, photos and sign-in sessions are removed straight away, and your likes are no longer shown to anyone. The other member keeps their side of any conversation you had: the text of your messages is replaced with “[message removed]” and your name with a deleted-member label. Some records are kept for the periods set out in our Privacy Policy, for example purchase records for tax and fraud rules.

Deleting your account does not refund any purchase, and any remaining credits or pass time are lost with it.

If we end it

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you break these terms, our community guidelines or the law, or if we are required to by law. Accounts also end if we close the service. If we terminate your account for breach, you are not entitled to a refund.

The parts of these terms that by their nature should continue, including the content licence for records we keep, the disclaimers, the limitation of liability and the disputes section, survive the end of your account.

9. Disclaimers

  • Swooopz is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running well, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that it will suit your needs.
  • We do not guarantee that you will get matches, dates or a relationship, or that any member is who they say they are.
  • Other members are responsible for their own conduct and content, on Swooopz and when you meet in person. We are not responsible for what members say or do.
  • To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties and conditions that are not stated in these terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss; for loss of data, profits or goodwill; or for any loss arising from your dealings with other members, whether on or off the service. To the same extent, our total liability to you for all claims connected with Swooopz is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit, for example liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local consumer law gives you.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Muscat, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the problem informally.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we change them we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If you keep using Swooopz after a change, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms: email support@swooopz.com, use Support in the app (Settings → Safety & support → Support) or on the website (Support in the menu), or write by post to the address above. The same channels handle privacy, account deletion and child-safety matters.
